Night Shootout
About:
Night Shootout is a 2D platformer shooter-game where you have to survive an enemy that will follow you and shoot when he sees you. You will have to dodge his bullets while shooting yourself, as well as reloading and healing your wounds.
Pickups:
Healing - Pick up the white healing-kit when you need to heal. It will take some time and you won't be as fast while you heal. The heal fills up 20% of the health
Reloading - Pick up the ammunition box when you need to reload. Just as when healing it will take some time and you won't be as fast, but your ammo will be fully refilled.
Slowdown - Pick up the hourglass whenever you want to make time go slower. Once you pick up the hour glass the time will be 25% it's initial speed for 8 seconds. This will make it easier to aim and hit the enemy.
Assets:
All the art and music is made by me. I used Leshy SF Maker for all sound effects.
Controlls:
WASD or ARROWKEYS to move, S to smash.
MOUSE to aim and LMB to shoot.
The game was made for the art of one jam #1.

Interesting idea! But when I try to replay, my character is not capable to shoot anymore and I need to refresh the page... a bit annoying while I use basic chrome.

Nicely done game. Although i have a few things to point out ;
1.The healing takes some time and you can't shoot while doing so making it easy for the enemy to kill you.
2.The enemy personally seemed more agile than the player and was a bit difficult to handle when it got close but it made for a fun challenge.

Thank you for the feedback! The reason why you can't shoot while healing is because I want to challenge the player to find the right moment to heal and not being shot.
The enemy is a bit faster and do have better stats, altough it is not very intelligent and only have one life. I think that it makes for a fun challenge.
